MediTouch has built-in shortcut keywords to common medical terminology, making ICD-10 codes easier to search.
When you search for ICD-10 codes by using an abbreviation or term from our built-in shortcut keywords list, it must include the entire word or phrase in the common medical term column (in the table below) in order for the search engine to bring up the results in the ICD-10 name column. Search words are not case-sensitive. Example: A search for pseudotumor does not result in benign intracranial hypertension. You must search for pseudotumor cerebri.
Some shortened keywords are available. Example: Meibomian (the shortened version of Meibomian gland inflammation) results in hordeolum internum.
Note: We removed possessive apostrophes to the shortcut keywords to increase search results. Example: Hansen’s disease is searchable as Hansens disease.
